If you are no longer in Tucson, how often do you get back here?
My friends from high school would remember me as Lolly, not Lauren. I moved to Farmington, NM around 1981. I worked as a vet's assistant for several years and kind of got burned out so I got a job as a rig hand on a swabbing rig for Silver Star Oilfield Services and worked on different locations all over the rich San Juan Basin Oilfield up here. After a few years I returned to my main passion of working with animals and became an animal control officer for the City of Aztec, NM, Police Department and later served as director of their animal shelter. During this time I also raised American Pit Bull Terriers doing business as Cottonwood Creek APBT's and also did Pit Bull Rescue for the State of New Mexico. No longer working, I now spend my time riding and training paso fino horses in the beautiful high desert country of northwest New Mexico. I loved living in Tucson and have visited several times over the past 31 years. I miss it.
