I remember Mike McMillan coming over to my house with his "new" used car. A Datsun. It was in the middle of the day in the middle of summer and he wanted me to come outside to "see something." He got into his Datsun, rolled up all the windows, engine was off and no A/C anyway........and he sat in the driver's seat and began to sweat profusely from the heat inside that car.....THAT IS WHAT HE WANTED ME TO SEE. Oh boy!

I remember another time, another one of my goof-ball friends (John Heiman), invited my girl-friend (Polly Bookmyer (1972)) and I over to his parents house to go swimming. John's parents were not at home, but his 11 brothers and sisters were. John, at that time, worked for a Bayless grocery store. He had gone to his store and bought a boat-load of soaps/detergents to put in the pool so that we had "bubbles." Didn't need a bath that night.

I get back to Tucson every couple of weeks. Living way out in Avra Valley, (Marana, Pima County, Arizona, USA, USA, USA,) it is somewhat challenging and time consuming arranging all the flights and other logistics to get back to Tucson. tee-hee

Yes. Despite my appearance, I WAS "born a poor black child." Seriously folks, I hope everyone is doing well and may GOD bless each of you and your families and friends.

Don't think I'd change a thing.

EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! And not just belly laughing, I'm talkin' tears in the eyes too, like when watching Practical Jokers or comics on YouTube, even the "oldies" like Rodney Dangerfield. I'm smiling right now just thinking of them.
