Residing In: Tucson, AZ USA
Homepage: www.tucsonmove.com
Occupation: Real estate pro slaving for the man, Eric Schrader
Children and Grandchildren: None, but I used to have a dog.
School Story:

I was the first High School football player in Tucson to wear white shoes, (actually they were black shoes polished white) and I've been known to slap on myself and make interesting noises.

If you are no longer in Tucson, how often do you get back here?

After Sahuaro I went to the University of Arizona for a year, played football on the freshman team, realized that my future in the sport would be short-lived, so I left Tucson for Northern Arizona University and tried to live in the same dorm with my buddy, Eric Schrader. (he almost killed me one time)
Flagstaff was and is still about my favorite place in the world and I get there on a regular basis to hike, ski, bike, and visit my brother Randy and his wife.
I stayed in Flagstaff until about 1980 when I moved to the San Diego area for a couple of years with a Business machine company. I loved it there, but was having too much fun, and not making enough money to ever buy a home, so I came back to Tucson in a couple of years and have resided here ever since.
I have always been somewhat of an entrepreneur so tried various businesses some of them successful.
Along the way I finally got married in 1990 and that was good while it lasted for 7 years. After the divorce I took it easy for a couple of years and then went to work for my friend Eric Schrader and have been with his Century 21 company now for 15 years. It has been a great career, even though we all know it has been very challenging the last few years.
I am very fortunate that both my parents, who are 87 and 84 respectively, are still alive and in the neighborhood and I enjoy their company on a regular basis as they are in the same house that brought me to Sahuaro. While I have no children I am a God Father to Eric's daughter, Amy.
I am still very active in many outdoor activities, but have also acquired a dedication to Yoga and Meditation that continues to grow and make my interior life so much better. I probably feel better about who I am than at any time of my life..... mostly because of this spiritual practice. I know I am blessed and plan to dedicate much of my future years to helping those less fortunate than myself.

Dave, I was saddened to read of your Dad's recent passing. What a long and rich life he lived. He did so much for the development of our community. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Dave Ashcraft
