Phyllis C. Rumore Daugherty

Went to U of A right after graduating Sahuaro and graduated U of A in 1974 with a degree in fashion merchandising! Never worked in my field of study, instead went into banking right after graduation from college. Worked in all aspects of banking for 20 years. I took 7 years off from 1981 until 1988 to stay home with my little ones.
Ed Daugherty and I got married in 1972 and we have 3 wonderful children, they truly have been the lights of our life! Our kids have given us 5 grandkids and being a grandparent is so awesome! Ed and I just celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary and it seems like it was just yesterday that we were meeting each other at Sahuaro.
Ed is a journeyman electrician and for the first 12 years we were married his work took him all over Arizona and even sometimes to California. For the past 26 years he has worked in traffic engineering with the City of Tucson.
Ten years ago I decided there was a much more interesting world outside the walls of banking, so my daughter Andrea and I both left banking and got our real estate licenses. We started the Tucson Dream Team and have never looked back! We love working together and love what we do, we are so lucky to have a great business that is so rewarding and also a lot of fun.
Ed and I like to build houses, decorate them, landscape them, live in them for awhile and then start all over and do it again (I guess real estate has always been in my blood).
We currently live in Vail with all our pets, we have 4 dogs, an amazon parrot, and a desert tortoise. Can you tell I am an animal nut?
We are so Blessed to have all our kids and grandkids here in Tucson.
