Charles (chuck) Simmons disappeared in 2004 and is presumed dead. He was a gem dealer here in Tucson. I used to run into him regularly at the U of A basketball games: http://www.projectjason.org/forums/index.php?topic=5537.0- info from Lane Johnson
Chuck's disappearance is still among the Pima County Sherrif Dept's open cases so please contact them or 88-Crime with any information. Below, we were backpacking in Yosemite six months before. He was noted during this past year's Dia de los Muertos parade. I miss my good bud.
Chuck was one of those core people I knew from my neighborhood who started at Hudlow Elementary School then went to Fickett Junior High and did the Palo Verde/Sahuaro high school. His mother was always so sweet to me and a younger brother of mine and his brother were friends as well. I remember we would compete at Hudlow with arm wrestling. He usually beat me. One day we must have gone 15 minutes and had a big crowd around us. We were in safety patrol together at Hudlow. He was always smiling.
