I walked into Dr. Stephen Richmond's office (my eye doctor) and saw that Mary was working there...we never got around to "meeting for lunch." -- Does anyone have any info to add about Mary? -Carol Holly
Mary found me by email in 2006 and we communicated for a few years. She was a very wonderful proud Marine Mom. The last I heard, her son was on his way to Iraq for a second tour of duty. Mary sent beautiful photos of her son and his family including her beautiful grandchildren. Emails stopped and I never knew why.
I remember she loved the Beatles in Junior High. She was a lovely spark.
I knew Mary growing up in Rolling Hills. I knew her brother Walter from a distance I guess. We lived in different neighborhoods but I would see her around from time-to-time. She had incredible eyes and a mischievous smile. When we'd sort of spontaneously cross paths it was like she looked right into me and ask embarrassing questions like "So what've you been up to, Sam?" I know... Goes without saying that I couldn't speak to her. She was soulful & beautiful.
