Profile Updated: November 7, 2019
Residing In: Tucson, AZ USA
Spouse/Partner: Margaret
Occupation: Locomotive Engineer
Children and Grandchildren: Married twice. First time too early. Second time too late.........lots of nieces & nephews.
School Story:

Went to three high schools....East Bakersfield HS where we were always at the drag strip (Famoso) or over at the beach from Avila to Carpenteria.

Coronado HS in El Paso where we were always at parties at the levy (Rio Grande river) or over in Juarez (Skullduggery all).

Sahuaro HS for my last 3 semesters. Lots of great local bands back then in Tucson.

I think the common thing we all can agree on is the influence of music in our lives. From the British invasion, to the Band, to the Doors/Jefferson Airplane, to Pink Floyd/Led Zeplin.

I can listen to a tune and tell you exactly where I was living, what school, and the year(s). At the SAME TIME I can not for the life of me remember where I placed my #@%&^$ rachet yesterday! All I can say is that I placed it in a place so safe that even I can't find it. It'll probably show up when I am looking for my hammer.

I have to admit though, I did attend Willie Nelson's Birthday party in Austin at the Perdenales C.C. While the Who was live at UT Austin. It was a toss up. 12 hrs of the best country music available in 1980'ish from the top fifteen or twenty Country stars, or two hours of the Who. Same price. No brainer. Hope to see a lot of you..........P.T.C.

If you are no longer in Tucson, how often do you get back here?

Went to the U of A and ended up on the Southern Pacific Railroad. That was a direct result of the distractions at Louies Lower Level. It wasn't conducent to book learnin' but billiards and pool, and short skirts...different story.
I have lived either in New Mexico, Texas, or Arizona my whole career with the RR. Now in Tucson for last 20 years and now work for Union Pacific RR. They took us over in 1995.

Very sad to hear about Bill. He and Steve were a couple of the first kids I met when I transferred in at Sahuaro. Boy were they a hoot. I remember one lunch break Steve did something to Bill....in the cafeteria and Bill was hot! He was gonna beat the daylights out of Steve.....if he caught him. Bill chased him all over the school, both at full speed. In and out of the buildings they ran until they both got pooped out in the main yard outside the cafeteria. Of course everyone was out to watch the beating begin but they were both so tired and out of breath that they couldn't hardly stand. Everyone laughed and the bell rang and we all went back to class.  Good man that Bill.

No, this is NOT how we hall hay. This is how you hall hay after hitting a hay truck in Gila Bend at 60mph. The bales busted out the bullet proof windows and shoved through the front door and came half way into the cab! What was left of the truck was a mile behind the locomotive. I think this happened around 1986 or so. No fatalities but.....YOU GOT IT! IT WASN'T MY FAULT!!!
